"It's David vs Goliath"

What an unpredictable score!

Saturday evening on the 19th of September 2015, for the first time in its history, the Japanese rugby team succeed what was considered as a pure madness before: to win against the Springboks (the South-African rugby team) (34-32). In fact, as the competition just started (the 18th of September), this victory came -after the try of Karne Hestketh's at the 84'- as a bombshell: since the creation of the Rugby World Cup in 1987, Springboks have already won the cup twice whereas the Japanese was qualified for the first time in 2011: “It’s David vs Goliath” reported Eddie Jones (the Japanese coach) before the match.

May be too self-confident, the Springboks were the typical example that in rugby you should not underestimated your opponent.

We hope for our friends of “the land of the rising sun”, that this milestone will lead them to a succession of victories.

To be continued …

They will organize the next RWC in 2019!
